Validation of the Male Role Norms Inventory-Revised- Adolescent (MRNI-R-A)

This project is a replication of Levant et al, 2016 study validating the MRNI-R-A with youth. This study aims to explore if the structure of the scale is valid for African American adolescents 13-17 years of age. This study also aims to explore whether African American youth’s construction of manhood is more aligned with other non western hegemonic constructions such as machismo and caballerismo which are associated with masculinity of Latino men.
